Is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ......

Mon Feb 10, 2014 12:55 pm

really the right my for the job ??? was he the right choice ??? I know you have to give managers time but that's one of the very few times ive ever lost my box with a Cardiff City manager especially when he come over to the fans after the game, tactically he was wrong, I just don't understand why Craig Noone didn't come on, I don't understand why Frazier Campbell hasn't started the last two games, I think that was shaming and not acceptable against our rivals no bottle or passion. I think OGS doesn't even know himself what our best 11 is yet, good job I wasn't the owner I would have sacked him after Saturdays dire performance. I think its good night Irene for the rest of the season I just don't think Ole knows what hes doing. I may get a few slatings for this post but quite frankly this is my opinion. The players should hang their heads in shame after that.

of course you are entitled to your opinion. As i am mine. In my opinion yours is a stupid post. Judging a manager after 7 games. :thumbright:

Ahhhh so we lost to swansea.....whats more important, one game or the future?

Judge him after the next 2 home games , if we win both all of a sudden he's had a great start apart from the jacks and will be well in this

Granted our future is important also that was a massive game against the Jacks.I know its 7 games & your supposed to give them time, but I just don't think that OGS was the right man to take charge, This is all down to Vincent Tan to who has made our club a worldwide laughing stock. I also think Malky should not have been sacked butttttt hey I also then think we dropped a bollock not getting Pulis someone who has premiership experience.

One thing is clear he was very naive and totally underestimated the importance of the derby, just like Laudrup was when we came to your place.
Also going by the interviews leading up to the game there seemed to be a feeling that we would roll over because Laudrup has gone and we 'only' have Garry Monk in charge.

I wouldn't like to be in his shoes now though I bet Uncle Vinnie is regretting the decision to bring him in.. the question now is will Tan be crazy enough to sack 2 managers in a season???..

last Saturday...........you were the better team no question...............but......world beaters you were not........most of our fans were still confident at half time,,youd dominated with a very strong wind,,but had not really troubled us.......once yous scored,,i admit was all over, your fans stepped it up,and team responded, you scored 3......but it wasnt the ok coral,Marshall wasnt busy, balls were not being kicked off the line..........was a good win for you.......but for me we threw 3 points away against very ordinary opposition..........if you want to turn this into something fantastic carry on...........
as for Monk...........really.....1 swallow doesnt make a summer......he is now impossible to replace, and just might bite you up the arse

Noone was injured.
Frazier Campbell hasn't started the last two games because Jones is a better target man then him.
If you think sacking a manager after 7 games is a good idea your a bigger clown then Vincent Tan.
How can our season be over in February we are six points away from 10th and two games away from another fa cup semi final at wembley.

'I knew it was going to be tough', says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of Cardiff City's relegation scrap

The Norwegian manager insists he was under no illusions as to the scale of the struggling Bluebirds' task

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claims he knew Cardiff’s relegation fight would be this grim.

Solskjaer has managed just three points from his first five league games to leave the Bluebirds next to bottom of the table.

Cardiff are three points below the safety line going into tonight’s home clash with Aston Villa and their manager says he is not surprised by their plight.

“I knew it was going to be tough,” said Solskjaer. “We are in a situation we more or less expected to be in that we are fighting with a few others to avoid that bottom three.

“We can’t be so naive to think we will be top 10. If you’re top 10 after 51 years then you’ve done fantastic.

“Realistically, it’s a couple of wins away from us standing here and talking about a good run of games.”

Solskjaer insists he still believes new boys Wilfried Zaha, Kenwyne Jones and Fabio can help save Cardiff, despite their poor displays in the South Wales derby defeat to Swansea.

“They are an important part of the squad,” said the Norwegian. “I thought Saturday was a game for them to shine in and that’s why I picked the three of them.

“They did well in the first game against Norwich. They will improve. They’ve now got more minutes under their belts.

“When you have a couple of games, you feel better, so I’m sure they will feel better for Tuesday.”
