Negativity!!!

Mon Feb 10, 2014 1:19 am

"we are down"
"no chance for us now"
"any teams worse than us?"
"nothing other than relegation in my eyes"
"what game will seal fate"
"doomed"

FOOOOK ME!...I can only hope the players don't give up like the seemingly majority on here!!!

Saturday was a disaster, a shambles, embarrassing, BUT.....we aren't down, plenty of points to play for with winnable games coming up.

Lets ALL give it a go, support the boys...make some noise, and see what happens.

BLUEBIRDS! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Agree - lots of games left, it's important we back the team Tuesday and do our bit to make the City rise from this sticky patch.

At last someone with a positive post!! Have to say, even tho we were poor saturday eve,I still believe there will be MANY more twists to come.I despair at some of the comments and constant negativity.Us fans need to get behind the boys big time now,not wallow in self pity!! I will not accept relegation until it is reality! Bloooooooooobirds!

Completely fooking agree mate! No wonder our players look so shot of confidence, it's resonating from our fans! Lets get the stadium buzzing against Villa, get some real positivity and let the players know that we're in the relegation battle with them, if Whitt's starts, sing his name, boost his confidence, don't think 'oh here we go again'. Get some chants going, and not jus the shitty songs about the Jacks, lets focus on Cardiff and why we fooking love the team! YOU ARE MY CARDIFF!

13 games left, all to play for.

We WILL survive.

I agree, we all knew it was gona be a fight and we are still got a massive chance to stay up. Alot of points are still left to grab, with it so tight at the bottom and having played most of the ''big'' teams twice we got a better chance than others around us.

We will finish 10th
The players are full of confidence.
We play top football.
The manager is the best manager ever.
The fans are full of passion and the best in the country.
And so on........

In the real world we all know above is a lie but let's call it negative.

if the team gave 100% i dont think any on here would question what is going on,sadly we again witnessed a team that just rolled over and i think everyone are entitled to ask why....and with more performances like that we are only heading 1 way.

I quite agree. This just felt worse because it was against Swansea. The performances against Southampton and in the first half against Newcastle were far worse than Saturday.

Just for once I totally agree with you Annis! :D we are only 2 places below this season's target of 17th, after all.

It was also nice to meet you just before the Norwich game to break the news to you about the Cala deal. It's not often I know something before you and Carl, even if I had heard the story on Radio Wales!

The last time I saw us play Villa was in the late 60s, I think, when Ronnie Bird had one of his unplayable days and scored 2 in what I think was a 4-1 win. Of course, my memory may have been playing tricks on me :old:

Let's all keep the faith! :ole:

2 wins against Villa and Hull (Possible) and we could be up to 14th. It isn't over yet. :ayatollah:

Not wishing to be negative but didn't Bobby Brown break his leg against Villa in the late sixties? Did Les Lea make his debut in the same game? Memory not what it was and I was only about 8 or 9!
Hope somebody can correct me!

It could be both of our memories! :old: But I believe that was Boxing Day 1967. I , too, would have been 9! :ayatollah:

You are right it was Boxing Day 1967, I was 7 and my brother 5. Bobby Brown damaged his knee and never played again. I had to look it up after I posted. I was really impressed I remembered it so well. :old:

We will both by there tomorrow 46 years later, cheering the city on full of optimism, willing the boys on to win and keep our hopes of staying in the Premier League alive.
Not sitting in armchairs and criticising the fan base.
