Your spot on, I really don't know who these fictional new fans are, especially at the game on Saturday. I've been going since 1980, a season ticket holder and couldn't get a ticket, as although did 10 aways last year, only had 6 booked on my ST so did not qualifySo I assume that those that went have certainly got games under their belt. I think it's more a case of our fan base is a lot of the same old, same old and can't really be arsed or run out of steam because of their age, coupled with the fact that the younger element don't really know what it's all about, as they have been brought up with the sanitised football experience.

Funnily enough, some of the most vocal on this site are the least vocal at the games because I've seen it with my own eyes !! It's similar at home, loads of people moaning about the lack of atmosphere and nobody doing anything about it
