manager with balls

Sun Feb 09, 2014 9:25 pm

We all know malky didnt have any this was proved at palace, stoke ect and now we see ole has none either, I still for the life of me cant understand how he didnt play mutch or noone and have a right go at them! Baffles me why players are brought in with quality and dont get a look in , dhaeli is 100% upto the job in my eyes

He is taking advice from Alex Ferguson and employing a 'Rotation Policy' which is good. If you have a team like UTD.

We don't have the quality on the bench to have that, But it makes you wonder that ole bought in Eikrem, Daelii and Burget yet they haven't made the team???

Will have to go out against AV and just go all or nothing :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

What do you mean by balls? Define it :)

OGS is doing a lot of changes for the Aston Villa match.. With these tight schedules I guess he selected the team on Saturday with the game ahead too much in mind. And realised the depth in the squad is not great when we are talking about Premier League level. The most worrying thing about the matches so far is that the team seems so weak in defense. To get John, Zaha, Fabio, Noone, Whittingham and Kimbo to perform good enough defensively might be too hard of a task.
In my opinion better possession play/creativity/pressure in midfield is needed in order not to get punished with using attacking fullbacks, so the Norwegians will most likely have to try to provide more of that against Villa. And away against better teams some form of counter attacking 4-5-1 must most likely be drilled in order not to concede 2 or more in every match.

Im sorry mate but in my eyes saturdsys derby was crucial and he tried playing it safe and possibly hoped to nick a draw, I believe noone and mutch should have been selcted as the best form if defence is attack and in those two players they offer an abundance of it and at the same time offer alot more defensively than kimbo or whittingham, not to mention the fact it was a derby and that he said he was ready to make history in relation to the double for the first time! So ill define it for you quite easily- ole shit out and didnt go for it!

Don't understand what you mean by balls... If you mean the ability to make rash decisions with a 50/50 chance of coming good I'm glad neither manager was that reckless

I don't know how you can judge ole on this after only a few games in charge - a knee jerk reaction after the Swansea game I think - ole made a big decision in taking off Whitts after 38 mins which was a pretty big decision...

I'm glad you have the foresight to say Dhaeli is up to standard after witnessing a ten min runout in an FA cup match  but I'm gonna trust the professional managers judgment on that one

Stoke and palace were there for the taking and Malky bottled it!
Ole selected wrong side and tactics were no different to Malky's on daturday! Hardly rash decisions to decide to have a go at a side m8!
As for daehli 10 minutes at bolton ,15 at man u and a development gsme was enough for me to see this guy would run rings round kim, bebellamy ect!

Yes he got the tactics wrong.. what manager hasnt? You cant dismiss him after one game

Palace completely outdid us (think there was a rumor of food poisoning? not sure how credible that was though) and Stoke is a notoriously hard place to get a result at - I was happy with a 0-0 draw from that one to be honest with you.

So after 15 development side games at Manchester Utd (after which Utd sold him on and i'm also guessing you didn't actually attend each game and study Daehli's performance) you think hes a world beater

Cornelius, Velikonja and Harris also smashed the development league for City - I don't see them being touted about as top premier league players

As I said previously - I would trust both Malky & Ole over anything you have to say

What's with the "young boy"? If your into that sort of thing I'm not interested...

He looked decent when he came on today - he's got a long way to go before he becomes a 'top' player though...

No no I think you are getting confused there fella - if you are gonna try to patronise me due to my age - do you think I'm going to take that on the chin

You are the one starting the personal attacks - not me. I'm not a wind up merchant, if you cannot bear people disagreeing with you on an open forum then you shouldn't post on here any more

If you look back through all my posts you will see that they have had a coherent argument and been football related - you have made yourself look juvenile by making it personal

And don't start with the "I'm gonna find you" routine - it's pathetic
