WHITTINGHAM AGAIN TO BLAME FOR ALL ILLS ?!?!

So everybody on the forum agrees that Whitts is rubbish and needs to be dumped ? Alledgedly in the Norwich and Swansea games he floated around and didn't close anyone down? Did anyone else close anyone down, did anyone press the ball, did anyone tackle anyone ? OGS seems happy for the opposition to have the ball as NO ONE makes any effort to close people down. OGS seems happy to wait for a mistake and play on the break, counter attack even at home. We should be pressing the ball high up the field and defending from the front....lets remember that the manager is supposed to tell the how to play and he got it wrong at Swansea and we were bloody lucky against Norwich as they battered us in the second half. I am a Bluebird through and through and want us to do well but lets look at the tactics not just blame one player. OGS said the Norwegians know how he wants to play.....so give them a game because every other player looks confused !!

OGS team selection clearly to blame, Kim doesn't have the pace too trouble Swansea and should have played centrally.

Whitts has started every PL game this season so MM, DK and OGS see something in him as a player and yesterday the only shot we had on target was courtesy of Whitts.

I think because he has been such a good player for us over the years he has been at the club we can expect to much of him. But the fact that 3 different managers this season have selected him in thier starting 11 should tell us enough about him to keep supporting him.

Still our most talented player in my opinion but he cannot do it all himself.

whittingham has been poor,he deserved to be subbed last week,he is not to blame for all ills.....but some need to open there eyes and except when a player is playing poorly and i honestly thought a couple of games out would do him good...

I am a massive Whitts fan, but the current tactics don't play into his strengths. I can't see him being athletic enough to press like even Medel started to do again. Our problem is apart form Cowie I don't know who can do it, that's why Kimbo was such a disappointment yesterday. Eikrem looks a carbon copy of Whitts, so it may fall to Gunnar who can't pass water properly.

We need to do thing quicker and Whitts has been conditioned to slow the pace in our play because we rarely had any during the Malky era.

Eikrem looks better quality than Whittingham. People are forgetting our most effective midfielder was om the bench last night. We also have a young star in Daehli. I wish people wouldnt sell the club short by their adulation for some journeyman

I'd love to see Whitts back out there, along with Super Kev. Kev would run his nuts off for us till the end of the season and Whitts' quality is undeniable on his day. True bluebirds as well.

Whitts hasn't done anything wrong. Had a bad game against Norwich but other than that he's been fine. Just because he doesn't go steaming into tackles people don't recognise his ability.

I'd definitely rather see him over Eikrem who doesn't impress me at all. We were crying out for someone who can pass a ball yesterday
