Yesterday's game......

Sun Feb 09, 2014 3:16 pm

Just watched the game again on sky, you never see everything at the ground.
After reading all the threads on here and listening to beer fueled comments on the bus coming home yesterday I thought I would watch it again and make my decision on events.
Turner didn't actually play that bad. (Apart from defending for Bony's goal)
Bellamy was by far our best player.
Whitts was good for the first 40 mins.
Medal ran his socks off.
Kim was poor as was Fabio and Zaha for the best part of his time on the pitch.
Hoofball was played as many times by Caulker as it was by Turner.
Fabio was turned inside out on a few occasions and made a few errors... (Struggled)
Kenwyn didn't look that interested.
My overall impression was that the team selection from the start was strange to say the least, no Noone and no Mutch. The substitutions were odd. We played well in patches but created very little threat Infront of goal. Swansea closed us down quickly which is what we should have been doing to them.
They were the better team on the day, they played the occasion better than us. Their support was up for it and although we were quiet for spells of the game I thought we supported the team well. ( certainly where I was sat).
I still believe we will stay up but may change my opinion after Tuesday night.
Onwards and upwards...... :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
One last point Jamie Redknapp is a prick.......
