Changes needed

When i saw the team sheet last night, the first thought I had was WTF. Where was Mutch and Noone! These 2 have been arguably our most consistent and best performers for weeks. The final attacking third was once again a familiar stat with no link-up play, no threat and no shots, etc... In fact we never ever looked like scoring - a familiar pattern. The weak link for me is Whittingham, Now I know he's been a good servant, etc, but apart from the odd rare set-piece - he provides little threat. He was taken off last week and we became a threat and scored 2 goals. Kim is also a player that has not quite stepped-up. So why were these 2 our engines in the midfield. I'd now risk the lad Daehli and play him in the hole behind kenwyn Jones. This is a player that has the vision that this side so desperately needs. We need a player that will attack from midfield and who is capable of a split pass to send Jones or Campbell through on goal - he is that player - Whitts cannot do this. We now need to take those risks and show something different. Sometimes one player can make the difference-I hope Ole lets him off the leash for Villa.
