Hate Cowie on the wing, BUT could be what we need in CM.

Hated MM playing Cowie out right.

But based on yesterday he could be what we need in the centre.

You win or lose a game in midfield and Kimbo and Witts were badly beaten.

Cowie might now have the best skill set, but you know he will give his all in there and will not be shy about getting stuck in.

Maybe a midfield of Wolf, Cowie, Mutch and Medal might give us the fight AND offer more protection to our back four?

I said on another thread the only genuine presser to complement Medel would be Cowie.

Wonder why Ole gave him a three year extension ?

Finally people are appreciating the work rate and willingess Cowie offers, would love to see him put in the team on Tuesday

What no Whittingham?

I've never questioned his work rate.

I didn't understand why he was played out right when he offered very little in going forward.

His ability and style of game would be much better suited for CM.
