This shower of shit squad just isn't good enough to stay up but if by some miracle we avoid relegation mark my words that most of this team won't be here next season if he sticks around and gets the same backing as Tan gave to Malky. Olé is trying to play a style of football and for the first half yesterday we were pretty decent but we just lacked something in the final 3rd which seems to be a recurring theme at the moment. I can see up to 8 new players being drafted in during the summer window, we need quality in so many areas and I can see the likes of Whitts, Turner, Kim plus other fringe players being shown the door.
With the likes of Cala being brought in and the Pre-contract agreement signed for Guerra plus the acquisition of the youngster Daehli ,Solskjaer is already making plans for the future and to clear out the squad.
I know it doesn't seem like it now after a run of 7 tough games but Olé knows what he's doing, he has experienced coaching staff working alongside him and a great scouting network in place so we just have to get behind the team and give them everything we have win lose or draw because Cardiff is in safe hands.

I think he knows deep down that he is out of his depth in this level!

Funnily enough i didn't see you complaining about him after the Norwich win or Our 2 cup wins. Like most on this board it's all doom and gloom when we lose.

Players are not the problem, is the management of them is. The intense work ethic and all players looking out for each other has all but gone. Malky wasn't perfect, but his methods, ethics and systems were far better than those that have been brought in to replace him. Our performance against West Ham was the worst I've seen for years, I hoped it was all down to being Ole's first game. Unfortunately its become evident that that standard is Ole's normality. Big backwards step.

Fully agree. The Summer warchest was the best chance of solidifying our place in the PL for a few years and we threw it away. Saints bought wisely in their first season, heck Norwich spent wisely and played good football in their first season. If we somehow stay up, Ole deserves a similar warchest to help solidify our place. We should have had a team ready for the Prem to help combat it, look at how Saints and Norwich adapted so easily, the Swansea squad even adapted.

I think Solskjaer knows his management skills arent up to it. Only a loon would have picked thst side yestrrday. And the pity is he had the quality at his disposal to have made him a hero yesterday

The problem is he really doesn't have much to choose from, what quality would you have picked? Do you really think he wouldn't have played Mutch and Noone from the start if they were fully fit?. Both were carrying knocks from the Norwich game. Instead of blaming OGS take a look at the players who let him down (and keep letting him down like Turner / Whitts and a few others) and take a long hard look at the signings that were made by Malky during the summer.

The conditioning of players was awful though, Kim and Noone would run out of steam ASAP under Malky, this isn't Ole's team

Did anyone else notice that Ole took off all the players that he had brought in and replaced them all with Malky's?

I've taken a long look at the players who let him down ...like Whittingham for example. But its no good blaming him he just hasnt the skills for this level. If Mutch was supposedly not fit, why was he on the bench? And anyway Gunnarsson would have been a lot more effective against Swansea than Whittingham. Also he has a superstar in the making in Daehli. And not to mention Eikrem. We most certainly have the players!
