Over Reaction

Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:37 am

Nobody likes losing to Swansea. Particularly when it seemed as if they were there for the taking yesterday evening. However, there has been a massive over reaction to the result yesterday.

Swansea have always been strong at home. Whether Laudrup or Monk was in charge, it was always going to be tough to get a win. Our focus should have always been on our next three home games (Villa, Hull and Fulham). These three home games will determine whether we stay up or go down... Not last nights result. I was equally shocked that Noone and Mutch were on the bench, but maybe he had Tuesday in mind.

My main concern is that under Malky we were solid at the back but not scoring enough goals. Under Ole (at least for now) we are dodgey at the back and still not scoring goals. We need to hope we find our shooting boots for these upcoming home games or it will be goodnight.

Yet another poster portraying the myth we were solid at the back under Malky.just to remind you that his last two matches we were three nil down by half time and only Fulham had let in more goals than us when he left.
