Premiership Experience

Sun Feb 09, 2014 8:51 am

There are many posts on here in relation to managers MM/OGS but what is clear is that the Premiership experience of Tony Pulis and Steve Bruce is shining through.

At the start of the season Bruce made some clever signings for Hull by bringing in players like Huddlestone, Livermore and Davies all players who have that Premiership experience along with Steve Bruce himself. He knows how to win games and keep it tight at the back.

Since Tony Pulis has gone to Palace they have been totally transformed with more or less the same players barring some new additions in the transfer window. When Holloway was there they were cast adrift and conceding goals for fun. Now their results stem from a solid unit at the back and they no longer concede many goals. Pulis has used his premiership experience to totally transform Palace. They made a very shrewd appointment in Pulis.

There is no doubt that having a manager with that Premiership experience takes a club forward. The addition of those Premiership experience helps. At the start of the season we did not have a manager with Premiership experience neither did we have many players with that Premiership experience. OGS may still get the team performing and getting the results to stay in this Division, only time will tell. Experience is not everything but there is no doubt that it helps. :ayatollah:
