Ole I dont agree with your comments below, from the first minute Swansea attacked us and we were clueless and all over the place. I think Ole is very Naive. Great bloke and genuine one. 7 games in anf I am very worried, but I wont properly Judge Ole till 12 games in.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer:
"We got into half time with a good performance in the first half. But then we gave away a poor goal. We had chances, we had a massive chance with a free kick just before they scored.
boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives his views on 3-0 loss
After suffering at the hands of Swansea City in a derby-day beating , Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he is hurt
Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted his team’s 3-0 derby day hammering ‘hurt’ and challenged his players to bounce straight back against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
The Liberty Stadium loss was the biggest hammering the Bluebirds have had in the south Wales derby for 19 years.
The last one of this magnitude had come at the old Vetch Field on March 7, 1995 when Swansea triumphed 4-1.
A travelling Army of Cardiff fans behind the goal were left stunned by the limp performance from their team, the battling Craig Bellamy being the notable exception.
The result means Cardiff have lost four of five Premier League matches under Solskjaer, this setback leaving them well and truly entrenched in a relegation fight.
“It hurt, I hate losing,” said Solskjaer afterwards.
“I particularly hate losing matches like this. Ask anyone associated with Cardiff and they will tell you this is one game they don’t want to lose, especially not like that.
“Our dressing room was downbeat after a loss to our biggest enemy, but the players have another massive game coming up against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
“They have to bounce back and win that one.
“Do they have the character and personality to do that? Yes they do, in my opinion.
“They certainly have the footballing ability.”
He continued: “Our League position should surprise no-one.
“We knew we would be in a battle like this, considering this was a team that had come up for the first time in 51 years.
“But I’ve always said the Premier League is almost split into two different leagues and we’re in the second one.
“We have two home matches coming up against Aston Villa and Hull, two other teams in this second league with us.
“We need to look to win those and give everyone a boost.
“There are lots of other games coming up against teams down there with us too. Okay, it’s no good me just talking about it, we’ve got to start collecting points before we run out of games.
“But I don’t think this result will have an adverse psychological effect on my players. And I believe there will be a Premier League south Wales derby again next year.”
Asked about the match itself, Solskjaer said: “In the end I have no complaints about the scoreline.
“In the last 10 minutes they looked by a mile better than us.
“But right up to the second goal we were very much in the game.
“ We came in at half-time believing that was the best first half we have played under me.
“We were very much in the game and where we wanted to be.
“Swansea started brightly, as you would have expected with a new manager in charge.
“But after that first energy burst, we got back in it, did well, created space and scoring opportunities.
“The start of the second half was a bitter blow, conceding a goal so quickly.
“But even then the players responded well, Craig Bellamy hit the bar, Kim Bo-Kyung just put one over after a scramble in the box.
“At that point it seemed it could have been a draw.
“Then they got their second goal and it was game over.”
Cardiff have lost games against Manchester United, Manchester City, West Ham and Swansea under Solskjaer’s watch.
The solitary win in the League has come against Norwich.
Some of the defending yesterday was poor, with each of the goals coming as a result of slack marking by the back four.
“Every goal you concede you can point the finger at something,” said Solskjaer.
“It starts from the front. The first one was the one which hurt most, because there was a sequence of poor decision-making. In the end it proved so costly.”
"You always go into these derby games with heart and the passion would always be there. Garry Monk got off to a great start and we have to respond on Tuesday.
"We stand together as a team. We tried but didn't get that quality we hoped for. The lads in the dressing room are devastated, which they should be because they have maybe lost the most important game of the year, but their character is great and they will bounce back."

Nothing in the first half, could have gone either way. As soon as they scored our players heads dropped and we fell to pieces.

Ben Turner was woeful today. A real weak link.
I've also noticed that every team that plays us closes us down the minute we have the ball to stop us creating chances yet we give opposing teams all the time in the world to play the ball around and make space to create opportunities.
It's going to take a lot of effort to stay up now.

This very true & something I (& probably many others) have been banging on about for ages now.
Can't our manager & coaches see it?
It's pretty fundamental for gods sake!!

I agree with a lot of what OGS says, we did compete first half and going in I believed it would end in a draw game, even when they went one nil up, we could have equalised and the game changes. The second went in and of course the heads dropped, they grew in confidence and over run us. Let's get things in perspective, why supporters were all so over confident on here all week, I will never, ever fathom. We have been ordinary at best so far under OGS, why that would change at Swansea, who even given their league position are still a pretty good team, look at their goal difference if not their points before yesterday's game

We have to judge OGS and the team against those around us, some will say Swansea were one of those teams, but they are far better than their position indicated. At the end of this month, we can make a fair assessment on OGS, by then of course we will pretty much know if we are more likely to be relegated or stay up

First half was decent just had a bit of nerves. Agree re the scoreline etc, he speaks sense and knows that yesterday wasn't acceptable.

Turner is not the best but his job has been made a lot harder by the weekness of our full backs
