Sorry to say Ole got it wrong today, we lost the game in midfield, we won very little second ball and gifted Swansea far too much space in the middle of the park.
Surely Jordon Mutch should have started in the middle with Medel and Craig Noone out on the right.
Playing Kim and Whittingham in the midfield was destined for disaster and you could see from very early that the we were losing the midfield battle, fortunately for us that in the final third during the first half Swansea didn't have much going for them otherwise the shoreline could have been a lot worse.
All week I was confident we could have won this game and really believed that with Mutch and Noone starting we would have offered far more threat going forward.
Where is the attacking style that Ole pledged we would have under him, it is one thing losing a game but it is a totally different matter being humiliated by our rivals and not putting in a performance or fight.
The bragging rights belong with Swansea because of what this result does to the confidence of both clubs going at this stage of the season, it hurts and it is more than just a football result.
Fabio was poor today, Turner got slated by many fans but at times I felt he had little option other than to send it long because there was very little movement ahead of him.
We have to get a win at home on Tuesday against Aston Villa, by hook or crook it is absolutely vital, we need 5 wins at least to stay up and our best hope is the games at home.
I can only hope Ole looks back at the performance of today and once the emotion has settled down, he makes a few changes to the starting line up.

Absolutely! Ole your silly decisions cost us the game today!
Sat Feb 08, 2014 8:36 pm
What do you mean learn quickly. Championship season starts mid August. This is the longest pre season in history.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 8:38 pm
Yes ole has to learn very quickly but the players also got to play their part and turn up
Sat Feb 08, 2014 8:40 pm
He should of learnt from mistakes in his starting 11 for the Norwich game, but he didn't, this team and manager has got relegation stamped all over it, hope he turns it around but can't see it myself from what I have seen of ole so far

Gobsmacked at the team selection today. I don't believe after Norwich that anyone could have called whitts and Kim in midfield.
If you have the courage to watch it back Carl pay specific attention to whittingham who showed a master class in avoiding confrontation with any opposition players and never at any time pressed an opponent in possession. Fabio gets the blame for the first goal but whitts had plenty of time to press the player before the pass to routledge
Truly gutted and believe we will go down now

Why is it I just feel this signing of Ole is a big mistake.
We haven't got the time for someone to learn. We needed the experience guy in straight away.
I just feel the club has screwed up big time here.

I honestly think Tan and co have scrapped this season and are preparing for a new assault next season with a fesh, young manager with a definate philosophy on football. Irrespective of what league we are in.

I think he has learned a lot in recent weeks. The first thing being that some of the players are not up to the job.

Totally agree with you here Craig.
Tan is going to be around for a few more seasons yet.

Ole wants to play attacking football yet our best attacking ayer in noone was on the bench and he never got used. We play to slow and need to up the tempo. 3 goals fabios position was terrible young declon will learn from his mistake will give him that cos hes stepped up and as a youngster has done well. Turner let boney have a run on him for the third.
Really disappointed by the result and the performance today we've got a mountain to climb starting Tuesday. Games are running out and we are in a dog fight the question is over the last few season s we've had the fight but is it still there .
Still waiting for this attacking football but we have to support the team from now on starting Tuesday.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 8:57 pm
The more attacking players are more likely to play at home on Tuesday. Noone Mutch Zaha on Tuesday.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:18 pm
Ole is working under the same type of system he had under Fergie at Man U where they rotate the starting 11 every week. Hence noone and Mutch not starting, but they had the players to do it. That won't work here as we need to start our best 11 every week but I agree he got his tactics and selection woefully wrong today.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:26 pm
I believe Ole didn't start Noone for his lack of defensive qualities to keep it tight in the first haalf, maybe Mutch had a slight injury(why else wouldn't start) and Campbell to come on in second half to go for a win.Unfortunatley having got to halftime 0-0,he should have subbed Kimbo with Noone and Whitts with Mutch.
Their mid field had it easy today and we were up against it for most of the game, against Villa I would 4-4-2.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:26 pm
ole listened to bellamy
look what happens
whitts shit again
Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:27 pm
Good job Oli's on a rolling contract can't see him lasting long!
Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:28 pm
Thank you tan we are on our way to relegation , that was a disgrace I am ashamed
Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:34 pm
Ogs, joke appointment, tan has built us up for a fantastic fall.

You're right about him needing to learn, we have games to win! At least under Malky we put a big fight into games we lost, something that was definitely missing today!

Which makes the selection of Whitts and Kim so confusing today? If he wanted to play more defensive why the hell not go with Gunner and Cowie? Kim and Whitts offer absolutely nothing defensively and offer less threat than Noone and Mutch

carl watched the game in the pub
when i saw the team felt down
ole must see things in training
because some of the players dont perform on a saturday
Sat Feb 08, 2014 10:08 pm
Ole looked really shocked today and I do fear how this game will affect him considering how little time we have left now
Sat Feb 08, 2014 10:28 pm
Terrible team selection
can only think he has too much confidence in his squad
need to start his best 11 simple
also wheres ekrim or daileo whatever his name is both not getting games why buy then surely not more for the future

Looks like Ole's pinning his hopes on winning our home games. We're a shambles on the road.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 10:51 pm
Wrong starting line up, and the choice of substitutions were just as bad.
we played Malkys tactics, with a weaker line up than Malky would have picked.
and ended the match with only Malkys players on the pitch.
Shocking.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 11:07 pm
Team selection? Absolutely amazed, Kim gave the ball away 4 times in the first 6 minutes!
If that was Ole throwing a curve ball , it worked on his own team who couldn't believe it?
If Noone wasn't fit why sub him? If he was WTF?
Sun Feb 09, 2014 3:22 am
Carl listen you mong he's got it wrong every single time.
Sun Feb 09, 2014 10:53 am
Why call Carl a mong ? Maybe it's because you've got limited intelligence yourself or maybe your just a bell end ?
The fact is we were shit today Ole got it wrong and like Carl said, he got his team selection wrong, it's simple really, just like yourself
