A forum for all things Cardiff City

I told you all along Fabio is not cut out for Premier League football. Both full backs given a torrid time today. John is still learning though and will become a good player. Fabio for me though just doesnt have it.
Center backs looked shaky, lots of aimless balls. Medel did ok but his mobility is awful, couldnt handle Hernandez when he came on. Kim is far too lightweight, reminds me of Emnes - both have the same issue. Jones was woeful. There was very little positives for you guys in that.
Bellamy was probably your best player. Looked to get involved, quick passing and a great strike that hit the top of the bar. Why didnt Mutch start? He looked bright when he came on and did raise an eyebrow to see him on the bench. Zaha looked ok, a bit raw and runs down blind alleys a lot.
Very important result for us as it sees us back in the top 10 and it seems we have unearthed another gem in Monk, hopefully he can be a long term position now. Best performance from us all season and finally back to something like what we have become accustom to.
The league is getting very interesting indeed.

Cant argue with that tbh Roathie. We were at times our own worst enemy out there. We can say it made you look better than you were and we probably did, we were that bad, but regardless of that, the 3-0 is going to boost your morale and spur you on for the next fixtures.

no idea why mutch and noone didnt start at least we would of had a decent chance compared to a humilitation

only thing to argue is your not as good as you think? we made you look good and helped you with school boy errors for goals. you be ok only because far more worse teams than you, ffs you lose we are level, you win move to 9 places above us says it all really!

But there was no way you even came close to winning so the difference isnt as small as you suggest. That is our normal level that we have witnessed for 2 out of the 3 years. Everybody cant have an off day against us.
As Monk said in his interview we were pro active today like normal where as under Laudrup when have been the reactors. Major difference and exactly why we were back to normal.

I personally believe a lot of city fans were too confident after the sacking of laudrup My major concern was Monk would galvanise their players as it means a lot to him to beat us, and lets be frank, whatever the reason we were woefully outplayed today. It is now up to ole to pick the players up for Villa and go with an attacking side, if we do go down let go down with a bang rather than a whimper

Strange selection. As a Swans supporter I worried about Noone and Zaha but only one to worry about. I thought with our adventurous line up we might get overrun in midfield but we weren't.
Bellamy gave everything and was so magnanimous in defeat fair play.
Cardiff defence is a real problem-only Caulker is Premier level.
Why no Daelli and Noone when chasing the game?
Still think you will stay up but going to the wire. Results today didn't help but we moved to tenth with a win yet still only 4 points away from zone!
Results needed soon.
Would like both to stay up as there is nothing like the local derby and the record of no double continues!
