Why are rugby fans so aggressive?

All I hear when the rugby is on are phrases such as:
1) Get into him
2) Go on, smash him
3) Hit him son
4) Punch him (during scrums)
5) What a hit
6) Smash him in
What a violent breed they are. Why do so many have anger issues?
They should be more like football fans who appreciate the flow of the beautiful game. We're great role models for rugby fans.

Thats why there have been fist fights by Cardiff fans in the stands, it might not be on the level it was back in the 80s but you still get it
