11 yellow cards and two red for Juan Cala this season, including a sending off in his final appearance for Sevilla against Villarreal.
In comparison, Ben Turner has four yellows, with Caulker picking up just one.
I do hope the staff can keep this lad calm on the pitch as they've done with Medel; otherwise tomorrow's clash may not be the best game to introduce him.

La liga is full of diving and refs are too soft, should be fine here

Agreed with Mardon.
11 yellows most likely unfair ones and Medel come here with a supposed reputation but seems to have done well and his physicality and tackles are not bad in this division.

Fair enough, but I wouldn't like it risked with Chico capable of getting away with his acting performance against West Ham.

Gary Medel came here with bad reputation, but he has been exemplary with his conduct as a Bluebird, it should be no different with this guy.

Have you ever heard of Gary Medel DOH

plus did u see Ronald's red card, refs are pathetic in Spain.

Gary Medel had 43 yellow and 7 red (includes double yellow) in his last 2 seasons for Seville (includes internationals etc.), whereas for CCFC in 26 games (includes internationals) he has 4 yellows - enough said.

Cardiff City have announced the signing of defender Juan Cala on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The 24-year-old had his contract with Sevilla terminated last weekend, with the Spanish club confirming he was moving to Cardiff.
Cala has trained with his new team-mates throughout the week and is available for selection in Saturday's south Wales derby against Swansea.
A Cardiff statement said: "Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Spanish defender Juan Torres Ruiz Cala has officially joined the club on a two-and-a-half year deal."
Cala is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's seventh signing following the arrivals of Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Mats Moller Daehli, Jo Inge Berget, Fabio, Kenwyne Jones and Wilfried Zaha.
