Where did you hear this?

Re: " Good News "

I was in the shop last week after the Norwich game and asked about the retro kits and was told more stock was due in the week, but I just took it as me being fobbed off. Glad to see the club are listening a little bit at least.

I doubt the shop even turns over 3 million per year so can't see it being 3 million down

That's just under 70,000 shirt sales down since we switched from Blue to red.

I went in there before the Everton game in August. Not been back since. I have no identity with that shit in there.

The figures come from the accounts just out.

The £3 million downturn reflect across the whole business not just the shop. Also I have to retract the premier fact as these sums are from last season I believe.

I agree with Ian, as a Prem Club in BLUE we would of expected to have sold at least 50,000 shirts plus thousands of other BLUE merchandise.

Re: " Good News "

I used to go in the shop at least twice/three times a month and buy things for my son, I have been in once in the last 2 years and purchased a retro blue scarf, so they have had £5 off me in two years :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

To be fair, the merchandise hut in the Ninian Stand has had predominantly Blue gear in there all season.

The figures touted in this thread sound like bollocks to me BUT, I'd like to think there would be more merchandise revenue if there were more Bluebird and Blue stuff to buy. Hopefully the club have analysed this situation.

Fingers crossed, let's all hope it points towards a return to Blue.
