I don't understand Swansea's decision to fire Michael Laudrup one bit but I think that his departure means we will see a reaction from their players.

I am pretty sure Laudrup realised this was going to be a tough season. It has been, largely because of Swansea's involvement in the Europa League, but it is a far from disastrous one.

I don't really see an outstanding reason to sack him and I cannot help thinking the board have panicked a bit.

There was a lot of hype about this derby clash when the two sides met for the first time in the top flight at the start of November and the game itself did not really deliver as a spectacle for the neutral. I am not sure Saturday will be any different.

Cardiff picked up their first Premier League win under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Norwich last time out and he has signed plenty of attacking players in the last few weeks.

It will be interesting to see how the Bluebirds set up but I am backing the Swans to take the three points.

Cant wait for Lawro to retire now - used to look through his articals and found them pretty intresting for the most part - but these days he never seems to put any substance behind his opinions and end up spouting rubbish.

He says how the Swansea camp are in disarray, he has no clue why Swansea sacked Laudrup & Cardiff are coming in off a win... then says for this reason hes going to back Swansea

Lets remember that we have not won a game this season when Lawro has predicted we will win (twice?) so I feel more confident after reading this

None of the pundits ever bother to look into the goings on of either of our clubs much. They just spout shit from a distant perspective. If Lawro had bothered to actually research the sacking he would find there is so much more to it than a bad run of results and that things are not quite right at swansea on a few levels.
