To underestimate Garry Monk and Swansea this weekend.

He hasn't been the greatest of players (to be polite about it he's f*cking shit)

It's not a rule is it that you have to be a good player to be a good manager, we may all hate Swansea and hate Monk but he has been around long enough. He's not got any hands on experience granted but he's played under Martinez and Rodgers and if he has had plans of going into management for a while then he would of been watching and learning.
Sorry to be sensible, let's hope he is shit. But let's not be too confident he will fail and take the piss too much...not saying don't enjoy it..

I agree. He'll demand more respect than anyone else that could come into Swansea City Football club, and he cares about the club and cares about winning the derby more than any other player so definitely any other manager that could be there. He'll have the swansea players well up for it, lets just hope his tactics aren't up to scratch...

It's a big risk, they have given him the job four days after the transfer window closed, he was allegedly involved in a scuffle with one of the players, who was allegedly waiting for him in the car park and has no managerial experience, and he has had four days to prepare them for one of the biggest games in their history.

I can't see how this is a good appointment or something we should be scared about from a supposedly we'll run club???
