Goals, Goals, Goals ?

Thu Feb 06, 2014 8:54 pm

Despite the previous 13 matches (not including welsh cup/FAW) fixtures each South Wales Derby has been decided by a single goal if not drawn, I think it may be different this Saturday.

With both defences being shaky in recent weeks I expect there to be goals this Saturday.

Cardiff City last beat Swansea by more than one goal in the league back in 1965.

The two teams met 84 years ago on Feb 8th 1930 and Swansea won that game 1-0.

With our good signings in January and the form of Craig Noone, I am going to stick my neck out and predict a 3-1 Cardiff City win and create history in doing so.

I d love to see a few goals fly in on Saturday, just as long as it's cardiff players scoring them and at the right end :),I'd take 1-0 though ,just as long as we win the game:ayatollah:

I was saying earlier that this derby could be a big win either way.

Craig Noone may well find that if Dyer and Routledge play for the Jacks on Saturday, that he may well have to do his fair share of defensive duties, which hopefully will be better than he did for Norwich's goal last Saturday!

Hard to say that because many predicted us to lose 3-1 etc last derby.

I do think it will be a few goals in it mind you.

If they click they will tear our defence apart.
If we click we could do the same to them.

I'll go for 0.0.

Newcastle 0-3 Sunderland just last weekend. Struggling team (just on the up) playing their so called better neighbours away from home...

And for Man United's second.
