I've kind of had enough with Ninian 117, no standing, crap atmosphere, So where is the best row for atmosphere and view in the Canton?

Going to do exactly the same as you mate.
Bye 117.
Trying to go in 105 or 106
Beware though, I've sneaked over there and at times they can be a quiet bunch too!
Generally tho, much much better atmosphere.
Like football used to be.
Shame the club has not worked with us in 117 to create and not destroy the atmosphere

I'm gonna do the same - really like where I'm sitting now as it's a side on view of the canton goals but it's just such a shit atmosphere in the Ninian stand

I'm in 109 & row jj in the corner. Good view & you're against the wall

The grandstand is where the parties at.

I'm also in 109 JJ.Nice corner view and right at the back so standing no prob.Forgot my season ticket for Norwich game so bought a ticket outside for a tenner in lower grandstand.Like a library.Kids on their phones not really interested in game

I was in the lower Grandstand for the Spurs game and it was shite, I was pining for my seat in the Ninian, it was that bad

106 is probably the best.
Well that's where I stand anyway.

Anywhere in 105/106 will be good.
I'm in 105 at the back and there have been times where it's been quiet enough to take a phone call. But for the most part been good.

You can tell when people sit around the grandstand that don't usually. They actually make a noise with there mouths.
All I can usually hear is the old man infront of me moaning and people singing everywhere else.
If I broke out a song people would probably think is mental.

I might spend my season in the Canton Cross too
Thu Feb 06, 2014 11:34 pm
Anywhere in the Canton really. The more singers the better. Hopefully this year the non singers will move to the top tier leaving the whole Canton for the like minded folk. Be nice if it wasn't just 105 and 106 singing, the surrounding blocks should join in more

105 I'm in, not bad wouldn't mind being a bit further back as I am 50/50 with the weather.

Stay in the Ninian, great view of the game and the atmosphere is better than it is in the Canton. Moved over from 104 a few seasons ago and it was a breath of fresh air.

That's probably the lack of weed mate

Very true!
When the atmosphere is good and back to it's best i'll move over to the Grandstand for a proper view of the game, but at the moment it's so dead I feel as if I have to stay and try and get it back on it's feet again.

I'm in Canton 106, great atmosphere
Been in Ninian and it's dead.

I'm in Ninian 112. Close enough to the canton to join in chants without getting funny looks but also get the benefit of watching the game from the side
Fri Feb 07, 2014 12:27 am
I actually prefer the view from behind the goals. Got used to it now because of the Canton, it was really weird being in the Ninian for Wales v Ireland in the summer

I did the same thing before the season started mate. The stewards won but overall I'm a lot happier now without stewards hassling me every single game to sit down.
