It rained here today for the second time in the last 4 months & the snowfall in the maountains is at 10% of it's usual level. There is going to be a huge water shortage this summer in california even if it rains constantly for the next month.

While it sounds great when you're sick of the rain it's no picnic and this is a huge farming area which desperately needs some rain and snow to get through the summer. The farmers around here would give both of their nuts to take all of that rain off your hands and it has to be bad when everyone is complaining about there being no rain as the weather isn't usually a topic around here until it gets over 110.

I bet we will have a drought followed by a hosepipe ban in the summer...

In Perth it has been between 30-40 deg C for the past 3 weeks. No rain in sight
