I am quoting from todays echo where Paul Abbandonato has got it wrong. He states that the cardiff fans have to stop booing Whits because of the style of play that OGS is now playing.
Unfortunately Paul the fans were getting annoyed at the way Whitts was distributing the ball, his passing was mis placed and he was offering no cover for our full back. Whitts was once a great player for City, we knew that when he had the ball at his disposal anything could happen. Now he plays the deeper role he has lost the ability(confidence)to be a key player. The position he now occupies means he has to retain possession and create,tackle and be a prescence, none of these qualities does he retain.
Whitts will go down as a ledgend i am sure, but in the premier leauge he is a luxury to be used on set pieces and even those are not being delivered to the best of his abilities. I for one would never boo him but his days are surely over because we cannot afford to carry anyone!

Football 'experts' such as Steve Tucker don't even know the basics, such as how many players can be on the pitch. How that gobshite managed to become a football journalist is inspirational to out of work journo's, or depressing depending on the their outlook I would assume.

Whitts has been poor for the last 2 or 3 years tbh. There were calls for him to be dropped in malkys 1st season, Malky dropped him in the 2nd half or last season. Hes now back in and im afraid hes not good enough, what happend to the whits who used to slot and dink amazing balls over the top for players to run onto? what happend to the whits who tryed the curl the ball in the top corner every time he looked up at goal? All i see now is a player who stops and plays the ball back or sideways, it seems to me like hes afraid to try something special so he plays the easy ball. That wouldnt be a bad thing if he was a hard tackling player but hes not, he backs off the attacking players and gives them all the space they need. Will he start on saturday? Im not sure.

Decent football is not having the ball on the edge of the oppositions box and end up passing it back to your own keeper who then kicks the ball upfield to them.

if people say they did boo,well they did...........i thought the reaction was a mixture of things..not least excitement at zaha coming on.........most people seemed to miss that Mutch was supposed to be on the left, HE seemed to forget,then remember a number of times, but didnt seem enthusiastic about it...as for Whitts,so many just dont get it..........as a all action tacking,running midfielder he would never have earned any money out of the game..........his job is to be available to pass to{,which you cannot be if your glued to someone}.and make the plays, the passing sideways is to try to move defenders sso when he gets it back there may be a more creative pass on......but for many 10 robbie savages would be the ideal team.......Malkys reign did nothing to educate them either
