I reckon the Jacks would have wanted Solkjaer.............

Wed Feb 05, 2014 7:04 pm

They may not admit it but I think the jack board would have wanted him too, and he would have been able to improve them........

He wouldn't have gone there mind, heavily in decline and no money..........

Interesting. Roath jerky was quite jealous -and complimentary-when the appointment was made.
But you are right, OGS would not have taken on the jerks. He obviously has some serious assurances from Mr Tan that he has the backing he needs and with the signings he is making he must in turn have made some commitments to the players.
Anyway, who in their right minds would trust spew and his small minded mates?Small town club, narrow outlook, trapped and can't break out.

As opposed to good old honest vincent? may i remind you that huw jenkins never sacked one of laudrups staff and replaced him with a 23 year old kazakhstani. he's never changed the colour of our shirt either

Touchy!

Come on Ken, don't be in denial. spew had decided to ditch laudrup months back (see guardian/observer article prior to last derby). He put monk in as coach (to provoke laudrup to resign) but as laudrup accepted it he then sacked him!Lord know what else has been going on behind the scenes. You must have a better idea than I but I'm sure it hasn't been particularly edifying. The well publicised rift has been growing since the start of the season ffs.

I happen to think Mr Tan made the right decision with malky. Has spew made the right decision with laudrup? Who knows? I don't care.
I do know that OGS has been appointed manager of CCFC and has obviously put his trust in Mr Tan delivering whatever has been agreed.I applaud that appointment.

So you post a reply to Ken quoting guardian articles and what you perceive to have been going on at Swansea City since the summer, and then make up a scenario (sorry, it wasn't your own but pulled it from someone else's opinion!), on how Laudrup was sacked, then say you don't care! :laughing6:

You sure got your avator right!............. suedehead :laughing6:

The irony of Cardiff fans commenting about Jenkins being untrustworthy, when we've got that lunatic Tan in charge.

no i agree that this has been growing for a while. obviously i dont know exaclty whats happened but this whole situation/huw is not one the board usually find themself in. however it is one that ML often seems to find himself in!

im not gonna hate on laudrup - he was in charge during one of my favourite seasons as a swans fan, i saw results which i never thought i'd see, saw us in europe, win a trophy...but it was clear that he cant really be bothered with the day to day stuff (our form since carling cup has been awful).

also, say what you want about huw jenkins but he's clearly not small minded - he's overseen the club go from near extinction in the bottom division in the football league (in a dilapidated stadium) to where we are now!

ole looks like a good manager on paper (his record so far speaks for itself) so lets see. fair play to anyone who'd want to work for that nutter!

I think any Team out of the top 6 would have had solskjaer in there top 3 candidates for the job .

As for huw not sacking and replacing , he obviously replaced laudrup with monk before he made the decision so it's the same thing technically . Actually I'd prefer a 21 year old kazakstani before monk as a manager

He didn't want to spend any money in the summer, remind me about laudrups agent what happened with him huw wouldn't work with him, laudrup was probably read to walk so huw relented and brought in bony to keep laudrup happy. Bony has done well but overall the team has not, so huw has since brought in his own targets ngog and emmnes clearly undermining laudrup, he's brought in a defender that's caused a rift in the team to replace laudrups men.. Yeah huw hasn't done f**k all

Not like bomber jacket to talk nonsense

Hes a decent manager, make no mistake. But he's not the only decent manager in the world. Many are talking as if OGS is the only manager who likes to play with wingers :D

Your post makes little sense (no shock there!) I have never claimed to know either man, I suspect you don't either. :?

It's not childish at all - i find his actions since joining this club as lunacy & therefore brand him a lunatic.

If you had a choice of ownership for any football club, I defy anyone to suggest that they would prefer Tan to Jenkins.

Tan has plunged this club into even more debt than ever before.
Tan has stripped the club of its identity with his farcical rebrand.
Tan has alienated/split the fan base.
Tan has relegated the bluebird, synonymous with the club for many years, to an after thought.
Tan has replaced the bluebird's position on the crest of a club, with a dragon, which he claims is "protecting" the bluebird.
Tan threatened that if none of this happened, he would walk and leave the club in the shit.
Tan has dropped regular hints about changing the name of the club, should be gain permission.
Tan has made this club a laughing stock with a number of his actions/decisions.

Yet, let's criticise Huw Jenkins for being "small minded".

:laughing5: :laughing5: crazy.

Lol iv got to say I like the part were the opening post says we are a ckub with no money and in decline :?
We have money and are self sufficient, we dont need a fruit cake to lend us money with 7% intrest to bail us out.
Lets face it if he goes u are fucked and will do exactly what Portsmouth are doing, so basically u are going to have to put up with everything he says and does.
As for in decline, I didnt know it was the end of the season yet! We still have the best first team outside the top 10 in the prem that aint performed under ml, so this sacking could be the spark we needed as ml was clearly not the players choice and it seams the players are a happier bunch.

How many times can you be told that we are not paying back any interest as its been wiped off and any further loans up to the tune of £50m are interest free.

no chance we will do a portsmouth. Their owners had no bloody money thats why they crippled.
