Interesting THIS IS HOW THE JACKS SEE THE CARDIFF GAME NOW

Quite a lot saying it.

How do you think Cardiff will feel entering a Jack arena, filled with so much passion from the management, to the players and especially from the fans because of Monk and Curt given the reigns. I applaud Martin, Huw and the board for such a gutsy move, but it had to happen. A passionateless manager is a waste of time in my humble opinion. ATB Reeco

False hope. If they win its because we never turned up. They're a small club with extremely ugly fans and the sooner they realise it the better. It's in Europe's best interests to cut them adrift.

Probably spend the whole game chanting for Laudrup rather than supporting the team.

Britton will probably misplace a pass and get subbed off at 40 minutes for David Ngog to a chorus of jeers and boos.

Monk will try and fire players up but do the players all want to play for him. Some like Ashley Williams will run through brick walls for him. Others like Chico will want to through the bricks at him.

Trouble is half their team is Spanish and they don't have the same love for the shirt as Monk, Curt and the fans.

funny how they change their tune now earlier in season it was ML magician! besides a lot more to it than what is being said by club, you dont just sack someone so close to such a vital game and at crucial stage of season, no room for manouvering
either got to get results strait away with a side in poor form anyway! :old:

This decision has been taken by a fan in a suit. Blind panic borne of hatred for the enemy. Starts buying players over the Manager's head. Appoints his mate in the dressing room as the new Manager. What pedigree has Monk got for coaching the Martinez way? How will the Spanish clique react to the Chairman appointing as Manager the man who their leader was chasing after with a brick at the training ground a couple of weeks ago?

The wheels have truly come off tonight.

If Ole sets things up correctly and gets his tactics rights this could be a 3'or 4 nil for Cardiff, which really would turn our season around.

No disrespect to Bellers but it would be like Tan sacking Malkiy before the derby to give the managers job to Craig.

Can't wait for the game

Sounds like they are so worried about us beating them and doing the double or treble win in a row (not including all the development stuffings we've given them), that they are prepared to risk their long term future, in a hope that he can rouse them for this game.

Ole will be experienced enough to prepare them to play the game and not the occasion and watch Swansea get so wound up that they have a red card or two. :ayatollah: :ole:

Cheap attempt to get a reaction out of their players, if you ask me. Shoulda got rid of Laudrup couple months ago though, saying that. Wheels came off that ship around the time we beat them last.

think its going to be a very passionate camp, if Ole pays attention to this could work in our favour, jacks game has been based on patience for years, but i think saturday they will be brainwashed into being wound.......lets hope over wound

Re: Interesting THIS IS HOW THE JACKS SEE THE CARDIFF GAME N

Wed Feb 05, 2014 12:52 am

I think saturday Monk will have Swansea concentrating on what they used to do best - work hard off the ball, win it back quickly, strong work ethic, keep possession and use our wingers properly to supply Bony. Also the pressing game we used under Martinez and Brendan could come back.

Laudrup over the last couple of months was more concerned about the opposition than taking notice of our strengths and chopping and changing far too much. This doesn't do players confidence any good - saturday was a good example as he played a centre back (Amat) in midfield with Leon Britton on the bench. despite Leon playing a blinder midweek against Fulham.

Have to remember that this is Ole's 1st derby - a new experience for him but not for Monk/Curtis. They will be getting into the players this week about how big this really is.

Win or lose saturday all I want is 100% commitment from Swansea, turn up and work hard. Better to die trying than not try at all.

It was also Laudrup's first derby. I don't care what the jacks say, this is a first derby (of sorts) for Monk as well. He's a manager now. Different kettle of fish to being a player.
