A City legend as far as I am concerned and since supporting city from 1975 I think only Phil Dwyer has given more to the club.I doubt he will start that many more games but I hope when he is warming up as a sub that the fans really show their support for him. If we can get his confidence up by showing our support we as a club can only benefit from a confident Whittingham

top top Cardiff player...........im in the canton and tbh didnt hear booing, thought everyone was on edge tho..0 .1 ..in a must win game..Whitss was one of about 4 poor first half performances.i honestly thought it was a tactical substitution..until Bellamy gave it the disrespect thing..........

Hes scored nearly as many as Dale, in a league two leagues higher, and is a midfielder.

The last 4 years, which have arguably been our best since the 1975 period the OP mentioned, we got to the play offs 3 times, won the championship, and got to a major cup final.

In that period he has arguably been our best player having won our player of the year twice, and has been voted in the leagues team of the year, as choosen by his peers, 3 out of 4 years.

Yes he is struggling this year with the step up to claim he hasnt done more than the likes of Carl Dale is just laughable.

13th highest appearance maker and 10th highest goalscorer says he's done more than most for our club. Plus he's a midfielder so to score so many is unreal considering we've never really had many penalties over the last few years
