Later in the show they are gonna reveal whether or not you have to pay if you get a ticket, retail park outside the CCS is featured, could be interesting.

basically if you have a shopping receipt, that's enough proof. Just buy a drink or a sandwich before and after the game and you're covered.

So I'm assuming all those people who have just binned there tickets in the past don't have a leg to stand on?

The shopping receipt is just if you want to fight it. I have binned 14 tickets since ccs opened and will bin many more. It will cost them 260 bucks plus in costs to take you to court to recover a 60 ticket. Thats why they dont bother

My last ticket had photo's of my car showing the time arriving and leaving, I ignored it as I always do.

Basically they said ignoring tickets is a high risk strategy, the parking companies are going to court more qnd more, even though its costing them alot, but if you have shop recipts appealing should be straight forward enough.

I ignored the ticket I had from there and recieved no further correspondence, I haven't parked there since though.

The invoice is against the driver and not the vehicle. I had a ticket and wrote to say I wasn't the driver that night and didn't hear from them again. The onus is on them to prove you were driving which unless they have a photo of you they can't really do.

In theory, if your mate drives the car into the car park and parks then the ticket doesn't apply to you as owner of the car. and you're under no obligation to tell the car park company who was driving.
