His season actually ended in October. Probably about to go back to Toronto right now with MLS preseason starting soon.

No his contract is up he's a free agent tey can only have so many designated players so Defie will replace Earnie for Toronto next season hope he finds a club County should offer him a deal.

Thats not a bad shout about County signing him up, id imagine he was earning a fair wage at Toronto mind, so id be surprised if they could afford him.

But then county have got "Lotto Les" bank rolling them so maybe, there gate would rise id have thought too as he would defo do a job there.

Earnie wasn't earning DP money. MLS reports the salaries of all the players yearly and his was $138,000 guaranteed and $155,150 max. What is more likely is that TFC needed his international spot freed up to bring in Defoe. In any case, he should be able to catch on somewhere for that kind of money in MLS if he wants to. MLS has some crazy rules that even the die hards don't understand and a commissioner in Don Garber who has repeatedly admitted that the league often makes up the rules as the go. Still, I'm sad if he leaves MLS and I can't get my shirt signed. Earnie can still do a job in MLS. Especially if he finds a team that can get him the ball, unlike TFC.
