Watching that I can't see all the fuss about Whittingham, he was actually playing pretty well. He let a pass or two go in the defensive mid and that probably warranted his substitution, but that was by far nothing like the worst I've ever seen anyone play. He was positioning well enough when playing Left and Forward and saw many passes make their way up the left wing. He's getting so much stick when he's a quality player, very frustrating.

yeah I was thinking that, I think it was just because his badly free kick and his shot well wide that people assumed he played bad, I do think it was the correct decision to bring zaha on for whitts but should of been done at half time not with 7 mins to go

Definitely, big impact! And he seemed really interested in doing well for Cardiff when they interviewed him post-match - sign of good things to come!
