premiership referees

Why havent we had a penalty all season?
The refs are too scared of making mistakes, they are scrutinised and feel that if they give a penalty and its proved that it wasnt, then they would get demoted. its time that this trend was reversed and demoted for not giving penalties. A good referee is one that you dont even notice during a game, these idiots think they are bigger than what they are.

The standard of referring in the Premiership has been very poor. We should have had 7-8 blatant penalties this season but none of the refs seem to have the bottle to give them. Most have not been a 50/50 decision but blatant fouls which all the crowd has seen, the cameras, TV pundits but not the ref or linesman.

We should have had 1 against West Brom (Odemwingie pulled down), 2 against Liverpool (Skrtel and his WWF on Caulker) and 2 against West Ham (WWF on Caulker & Campbell) just to name a few.

The only positive note is that now Zaha is with us it should only be a matter of time before he is brought dan in the box ! :ayatollah:
