A forum for all things Cardiff City

Whitts has been a great player for us, and the guy is low on confidence at this time.
All players at some time have this problem, I my self think he is a top class championship player but he is finding a little it hard here in the prem.
Even in the championship he also had his faults, ok he has never been a top favorite on mine but he has helped us to get where we are and is deserving of a bit more respect than some of you pricks showed him.
we should be helping not adding to his problems. Bloody disgusting thank god you pricks were not at games back when City were really bad. Its your team and players get behind them NOT ON TO THEM !!!

Spot on, you wouldn't see us booing players when losing to Rochdale on a wet windy cold Tuesday night.

Confidence seems to be a very large part of Whitts game and at the moment he seems to have no confidence at all.
His free kick yesterday was truly appalling but his reation was telling - his shoulders slumped and he looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him up.
I don't think Ole did him any favours by bringing him off when he did. It would have perhaps been kinder to Whitts and better for his shattered confidence if he had been taken off at half time and not have to suffer the reception from some of our idiots when he was taken off.
I'm not sure that he can really come back from yesterdays experience to produce the quality of performance we need in what will be an absolute battle now in every game we have left this season.

One day, when we're back in the Championship, or League 1, and the glory hunters are gone, Peter Whittingham's Cardiff City career will be judged fairly, in its entirety.
Kicking a bloke when he is down is unforgivable. Whitts is a top professional, struggling at the moment, and very loyal to our club. It's not as if he never had a chance to leave, is it?! He's also a top bloke.
OGS's substitution worked, and probably won us the game. But that's what managers are there for. Whatever the mixed messages, support for Zaha, relief at a tactical change, or frustration with Whitts, the idea of some fans turning on our own player is unbelievable.
Why don't we do something really shocking? Support one of our best ever players, when he needs us to. Whitts has won us games in the past, many times, and will do so again. He might even come on as sub, and win a game from a set piece!
Peter Whittingham is more of a CCFC legend than most of the other, worthy, names who are regularly feted as such!

How very true,IF we were to drop back down, only the cream of city supporters will be left,
The rest ,plastics ,glory hunters, whatever we call them will have gone sour.

He needs a couple of red bulls before he goes on the pitch and a couple at half time if he makes it .

Wake up....the entire business of football is fickle. From the CEO down to the fans...we all know it. Whitts is past it and so must move on.

Your title is clearly addressing poor Peter and suggesting he should get shot.
Peter deserves better than so called fans like you calling for him to be shot purely because he's from England. Who's next? Caulker? Turner?

Disgusting abuse of the English. You should pay your invaders more respect and remember who's boss. You're fortunate as Welshman that they left you some land to dwell in otherwise you could be living in a Bristol suburb now. Think yourselves fortunate. Disgraceful nationalists in this thread make me sick.

But with Whitts , its his confidence thats gone and every mistake he makes its getting worse for him. Read it again and not just the Thread Title . The thread is about Whitts and the YOU part is the Fans on here that boo him you dick .

You're just making things worse for yourself now. I just got a phonecall from poor Peter and he's terribly upset by your threats on the messageboard. He's said that he's going to report you to the police and I have to be honest I don't blame him. I hope you enjoy prison.
