So many negative posts about him lately, the guy gets the flack for everything FFS. Hes strong quick , defends as if his life depends on it. Ok he makes mistakes like every Centre half in this league, he's not the best passer in the game granted, in the 2nd half yesterday he was great, how many blocks did he put in ? Yes he was quite poor in the 1st half yeasterday, but how many of our players were poor in the 1st half . Turner and Caulker are a good solid centre half partnership, the problem is we are up against it every fkin week and almost every mistake gets punished .. rant over enjoy your beers Guys

turner is a beast of a defender who can defend well he aint the best at attacking side but hes saved us on numerous times with his vital blocks and tackling

Half the people who slag him probably only seen him play a handfull of times !!

Watch him in a footrace. Rarely beaten and times his slide tackles superbly, how many pens or even free kicks has he conceded for poor tackles in 2 and a half seasons ? I'd say he's definitely quicker than Caulker. Problem is some people think big guys can't shift.

Turner is the best defender in the back 4 no doubt about it! But the fault that is blamed on him for his passing is made worse by others around him like Marshall passing the ball to him while he's facing our goals! Leave turner defend and try and push the team up the feild so when we kick the ball up to jones we can get the second balls and play from there! Leave caulker play all the good stuff

nobody was calling him shit the first season he signed or hardly during last season, im shocked how much shit he gets now

Your right Tim, the trouble is some of the posters on here slag him off and they probably havn't seen him play many times
