Relegaion Candidates - Remaining Fixtures

Sun Feb 02, 2014 8:35 pm

With 14 fixtures to go Cardiff have a decent run in compared with some. Most teams have 6-8 games against the top 9 teams in the Division. Sunderland/Fulham/West Ham & Norwich have difficult run ins. Norwich meet Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal in their last 4 games.

Cardiff - Home: Liverpool, Chelsea Away: Spurs, Everton, Southampton & Newcastle

Fulham - Home: Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton Away: Man Utd, Man City, Spurs

Swansea - Home: Chelsea, Southampton Away: Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton & Newcastle

Palace - Home: Man Utd, Southampton, Chelsea, Man City Liverpool Away: Everton, Newcastle

Sunderland - Home: Everton Away: Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea , Man Utd

Stoke - Home: Arsenal, Newcastle, Spurs Away: Southampton, Man City, Chelsea

West Ham - Home: Southampton, Man Utd, Liverpool, Spurs Away: Everton, Arsenal, Man City

Norwich - Home: Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal Away: Southampton, Man Utd, Chelsea

Reading that should fill most of us with some optimism

Fulham and Norwich look down from that list but it depends what points they both pick up in other games, subderland have really turned it around of late but can't help feel those fixtures are also tough as are west hams

It's too tough to call if we pick up 6 more this month we are in with a chance

Fulham to finish bottom for sure IMO

Delving in deeper you have to argue us Sunderland and Swansea are best placed having to only face two of the top sides at home in 14 fixtures, where we have a chance plus we have more winnable home games left where bulk of points will always come from

Looking at the others they have four and five away games each to the top 9 sides I'd be very worried of I were there fans as most of these games are chalked off as losses they will do well to pick up many points away to those sides of course any they pick up are bonuses but games like that put pressure on them at home as well

Gonna be an interestin run in and I'm loving being part of it even tho it's stressful lol

Gonna stick my neck out and say Norwich palace and Fulham to go down!

They all have to face at least 4 home games against top sides where it's inevitable that they will drop more points than other who only face two or 1 of the top sides at home
I'd much rather have four away games where anything we pick up is a bonus and have winnable home games than know 4/7 of our last home games could mean 0 points!! We have a chance be positive guys

Having to face 4 of the ,biggest teams, in their last 4 matches Norwich need to get some points on the board. Likewise Sunderland who have 6 of the top teams away.Forgot to include Hull.

Hull - Home: Southampton, Newcastle, Man City, Arsenal, Everton Away: Man Utd
