Is David Marshall the best keeper in the premier league?

I think he is, if we go down he is gone!!! I'm sure.

I personally think he is! Made many important saves and if it wasn't for him we would be even worse off this season! :ayatollah:

every keeper in this league signed by a top ten side is pulling off the same saves week in week out.
the difference is when we play the best players in europe they score a handful against us like they do v everyone else.

top managers have a dislike for small keepers as well they tend to want them border line 6.3 6.4

whilst he is a superb shot stopper, he could help himself and the team by claiming a few balls in the air. A few times on Saturday when the ball was in and around the 6 yards line I thought he could have anticipated and come for it.

For that reason he isn't the best keeper in the league.

And whilst we 're at it, why oh why does he do that dummy kick :( - he has us in fits of agony ivy :old:

He is ours so, always support him - just wish he felt he could catch a few like he does in the pre-match warm ups.

He is the busiest, most shots saved I believe, doesn't say much for our defence, I suspect be would have been well adrift at the bottom without him, was always a bit indecisive on crosses but his positioning is usually spot on
