Gunnarson seems to be a passenger at this level. Would like to have seen Daehli. He keeps the ball well under pressure and can find a team mate with a pass....something we desperately needed in the last 15 minutes.

I agree 100%. I can't believe how out of depth Gunnarrsson has been this season. He doesn't contribute in attack and he doesn't contribute in defence. The game completely passes him by every week.

I think for the way we now play with all our attacking options, perhaps the biggest thing we missed out on on transfer deadline day was another top holding midfielder to play alongside Medel. Perhaps Cowie would be a decent option. He's disciplined, has a superb engine and can keep the ball. However I do think he may be a bit weak in the tackle.
If we had another holding midfielder we could just let our wingers and full backs and number 10 cause havoc but at the moment we look incredibly top heavy.
