it always amazes me that chairmen think they are better judges of players than their managers. you hear now that levy is upset with sherwood because he offered him a few players on deadline day and the manager did not want them.
as far as i am concerned the manager picks the player he wants and the chairman or director of football try to bring them in.
after all its the manager who gets the sack based on the results not the interfering chairman or director of football who have brought players to the club the manager dident want.

I agree with you.Before Laudrup came along it happened when Sousa was here too.If a manager doesn't have the necessary contacts in the game and we need a player then at our club the board step in.Right or wrong it happens here.

It was Huw Jenkins who has been in the media explaining that Emnes playing in the Championship was not a concern. He knew the system Swansea play so could fit in. Obviously a Jenkins/Curtis signing

Fair play to Tan he did have the balls to sack Malky, whether we liked it or not he made a big decision and just didn't keep it ticking over, and keep Malky in limbo with no proper backing in the window..........

I agree with you.Before Laudrup came along it happened when Sousa was here too.If a manager doesn't have the necessary contacts in the game and we need a player then at our club the board step in.Right or wrong it happens here.

The ones from the Scottish Leagues were not meant to strengthen us now, they are for the development squad.

I've no doubt Emnes & N'gog are signings made by the board via the scouting team.
