I;m told by a friend reading Alex Fergusons latest book that Fergie's reasoning for Ole being such a good substitute as a player was this.......... (paraphrasing)Ole will analyse games from the bench in a way few substitutes would/could. He would enter a game and already have identified the gaps and weaknesses in a defence, to such a point that Fergie would rarely have to explain instructions.
I'm not an Ole convert and I still think malky should be in charge but it may well be the case that todays genial substitutions were no fluke and Ole is a tactical master, who knows.

This guy tactically is on another plane to what we have been used to... Shame he is learning about the players when it matters, but we dodged a bullet yesterday and he learned something
