Whittingham

Reading on the debate from what Bellamy said...

First of all. I know for a fact he hasn't been brilliant this season. Far from it in some cases. But some people have short term memory. He scored a vital eaqualiser at Hull
And the Winner against WBA.

I know he hasn't done well latley. We are all aware of that.

The lads confidence is shot.

When his name goes up against Swansea next weekend or against Villa in our next home game (I think it's Villa?). Give it a cheer. Chant his name Should he play. If he is on the bench. When he comes down by us to warm up, clap. Chant.

"Peter Whittingham he does what he wants"

The last thing the lad needs is the people meant to be supporting him slating him off and booing him after a free kick. Cheering when he gets subbed off. He will never regain his confidence that way. Today was shameful. Let's rectify it.

Were all one club. We don't need any more divisions between the fans.

Remember under DJ?. The players didn't used to acknowledge us let alone come over and applaud us at games. And when they do they get this treatment. Same with Cornelius.

Let's support the side now. Not slate them. You would have thought that we had lost 3-0 the way everyone is complaining. Enjoy this win. We haven't had that many this season. Rant over

I'm glad he got subbed, he's well out of form lately i don't know whats happened to him, im not his biggest fan atm but what the fans did is an absolute disgrace. Didn't agree with that at all it was bang out of order, i don't like what the Premier League is doing to our fans

Malky played him in completely the wrong way and now we're suffering because of it.

Cheers Malky!

I don't know how that's happened though, there's no obvious explanation.

Too many fans that have got used to us winning most weeks I'm afraid. We've not been in a real relegation scrap in about a decade, we've been spoiled with big occasions over the last 7 years.

We looked like we could run away with the Championship in 2006/2007, made the FA Cup final in 2008, challenged for playoffs in 2009, Wembley playoffs 2010, just missed out on automatic 2011, Carling Cup final 2012, won the championship 2013.

We averaged 15,000 crowds in 2007 according to this:

http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/D ... 67,00.html

So we've got roughly 12000 newish fans that are not used to wondering where the next win is coming from, and it's showing..

12,000 plastics we got then. Thats what the figures are. Cheers mate. Almost half of our fan base is made up of plastics and this proves it.

So when do you change from a plastic to a city supporter then, do you have to spend a certain amount of years, do you have to sit an exam. Or do you have to show your arse in James Howell's window???????. For Christ sake grow up people, don't categorise fans by calling them names, it can only be that some way it makes you feel superior, but really you are just being ignorant.
Our atmosphere is dying, let's get together as one, the next couple of months ain't going to be easy, let's start Saturday and act as one voice.
