A forum for all things Cardiff City

Like a lot of fans, whether I have been to the game or not, I tune in to motd every Saturday to watch the highlights. Is it just me or am I continually noticing an anti Cardiff bias when the presenters ave their chat after the game - tonight they hardly mentioned Cardiff - it was Norwich this, Norwich that and it's the same lack of focus on Cardiff every week - am I being paranoid or are others seeing this anti Cardiff bias as well on this programme?

I think we'd have a bit more praise if we weren't in the bottom three.

They wish we'd rioted so they could criticise us for being animals.

Danny Murphy was terrible. 'Norwich deserved something from the game'. On the balance of play, that may be true, but it's too late now! He went on about it more than once.

Swear the BBC are just anti welsh. Example, 6 nations last year against England,
all the commentary was about how unlucky the English were and not how well the welsh played. It's rubbish and you're right, I've noticed it with Cardiff and Swansea games too.

Yep even the refs are biased. There should have been a highlight reel for Marshall saves. Even on 5 Live 606 tonight no mention at the start of Cardiff winning to lift them off the bottom of the table!!!

Completely inaccurate, we beat Man City! Had all the punditry and media (mainly sky) sucking us off, which was gonna happen. The sad thing is that I have actually timed each MOTD since we beat West Brom Because I was getting that paranoid, which I posted about before.
In that time we have had 3 mins and 3 seconds worth of coverage, taking away video footage....im talking actual punditry. Funnily enough the shortest was 13 seconds of Cardiff talk and the second shortest was our WIN West Brom. Over 9 premier league matches!!! Now we could be bottom of the league with 0 points, but that is unacceptable, especially when Sky analyse and dissect our games. Big chuck of the value of my TV license wasted right there.

So, if Norwich deserved something today then you could say we deserved more against W Ham and Sunderland - but we didn't score the goals so that's all there is to it! Since the Man City game we haven't had anything positive said about us on MOTD

We usually play shir barely worth mentioning

I find it amazing the importance put on the praise from these so called pundits
If they say you are good or a certain player of yours is good then they must be correct because they are pundits. If they criticise you or don't mention you then they are wrong. It sort if contravenes the notion really, meaning any comment they make is worthless because you dismiss them unless its praise.
I personally try and make my own mind up and the minute I get upset because Gary Lineker doesnt confirm what I think is the moment I give this football lark up.

I rioted by myself in Penrhys. It was cold.

We were bottom of the league, why do you think we deserve praise.
We were lucky as hell yesterday and our fans were poor, the 10 mins segment pretty much summed it up....

I suppose they were very positive about Marshall and Zaha, as we start winning due to the easier games at home and move up the table hopefully they will be more positive.
We were lucky yesterday, but deserved it because we have been unlucky for weeks before this
Give it a few more weeks and they will be loving us and OGS
