Zaha in a nutshell.

Sat Feb 01, 2014 10:23 pm

I BELIEVE Zaha is not the most naturally gifted payer, I was underwhelmed by his loan signing. However seeing his impact today made me appreciate his game. He is an unorthodox tricky player who unfortunately/fortunately, which ever way you see it, has a nack for finding a free kick with his trickery. He can always get away from a player because of this style and cause panic in the final 3rd.

I saw him 3-4 times I believe against us for Palace, he did not impress me at all when super Kev had him in his back pocket, but I am truly excited by this kid. IF! IF we stay up, id like to think he'd come to us if Man Utd can't guarantee him first team footy, he just wants top flight footy for now. We are stupid enough to pay the price.

I'm actually far more impressed with him than I thought I'd be, always thought he was one dimensional and could be cancelled out but his pass to Hellers was sublime and he was decent defensively at the end. Only complaint was that at times his touch could've been better, that's it.

Mate he's a different class to some of our players. Once Moyes gets his head out of his arse Zaha will go far in this game. He is still quite raw but still a class player and made a huge difference to us today

This guy is special, we've got a diamond on our hands, and another in Daelhi. We should be very grateful we have them both

I think he is very technically gifted personally. Brilliant player. Seems to have developed his one lacking area when going forward (final ball), and is less greedy. He'll do very well here IMO.

I must admit I have underrated him all this time, he looked class yesterday, if he keeps it up we have one hell of a player on our hands.

Other Managers will be trying to stop him maybe doubling up, but it won't be easy, he is that fast and he will leave room for the others. I expect Swansea next week to try and stop him and can see him causing them problems and getting a few booked and maybe a sending off or a penalty ??

At times he's impossible to defend against and his quick feet are mesmerising!
To be honest I couldn't believe it the other day when people were saying they didn't care whether he came here or not!

He reminds me of Ronaldo when he first went to United. How far he goes in the game is up to him.

Agreed. I reckon he'll win us a few pens this season. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I had underestimated how much pace he had. A ball that I thought was poor was rolling down the wing and out of play. I had given up on it but somehow Zaha got to it.

I never really understood what the Palace fans saw in this player when they raved over him but that was before the impact he had yesterday. He immediately invigorated the crowd with his introduction and put fear into the Norwich players whenever he got near the ball. He is quick, decisive and very skillful. And this from a player who has barely played since being managed by that muppet at Man United. As he gets fitter he will surely get better and will be an exciting signing for us fans.

If you get a chance to watch the game again in full watch the reaction of some of the Norwich players when they see him on the touch line ready to come on.

We may only get him for half a season so enjoy.

Once moyes gets his head out of is arse? Once Moyes erases the mental image of Zaha doing his daughters arse you mean.

Zaha is a wong'un, who won't go as far as some are predicting.

The type of player who gets you to your feet, not that I sit down  Yesterday there was a buzz whenever he got on the ball.

Quality player who will end up at one of the big clubs, even if its not Man U. Just glad that we didn't get lumbered with Ince who's biggest fan is himself.

I think the game many refer to super Kev having Zaha under wraps it was actually Darcy Blake?
Whoever it was mind I agree he was kept relatively quiet except for one moment of magic where he miraculously hit the bar from way out from nothing.
He seems like the sort of player who can be really quiet then flick the switch, much needed for us :ayatollah:

Tricky player, though I think he's a bit temperamental and when teams realise they'll know what buttons to push , what I've seen of him he likes to over react at times.

Always got to appreciate players like him for their arrogance.

Great performance, hopefully he can get up to speed more as he was not clearly match fit but to give that performance.

I hope he can keep it up.
