There was no booing

I was in the canton and I'm 99% sure there wasn't any booing towards Whitts, Although there was a huge cheer (probably relief) when the crowd realised the change was being made.

Everyone new it had to happen before half time otherwise we would have lost.. IMO

I saw Bellamy tell the crowd to hush when he scored but didn't realise why... It wasn't booing it was relief!

So much at stake it's ridiculous

The cheer went up as Whittingham made his way off , that cheer was because he was going off and it was disgusting .

The way it should of happened was a clap as whitts left the pitch then a cheer as zaha came on . It was the other way round and to treat a player who has given everything to this club over the years was unforgivable .

I hope he starts the jacks game because he has a huge point to prove and will come out firing

If Bellamy hadn't said that I don't think many would of picked up on it.

I think it maybe was a bit of a few people slagging whitts off and the rest only seeing zaha on the sideline and cheering for him . Probably made it seem worse than it was but the ones who did cheer were out if order and there was definately a few because I heard a few people shout good f** k off whitts . I hate that the guys going through a bad patch we should be supporting him not dragging his confidence down further . Again I'd love him to start next week score and then throw it back down there throats

Before whitts was taken off I was slagging him off today as he was shit.....soon as he went off in clapped him but all I could hear was cheering..... I for one would never booa city player. Whitts should be shown some respect, he could have left few times but styed with us. Hope he doesn't let this get to him...all he needs is a rest, hes played every game this season

It took me aback, you usually hear a combined sigh at free kicks ballooning over the bar, but this was booing and I've never never heard it after a free kick that early into the game.

There was cheering, but you have to remember that a lot of people were also cheering Zaha coming on, as he was making his debut, so it wasn't all aimed a Witts.

I didn't hear any booing at all towards Whitts or any player throughout the game.. Lots of slagging off mind.

If there is any booing around my section then there usually told to wind there neck in....Even towards Tan!

I couldn't hear any booing from the Canton, is was unfortunate that as Whitts was going off Ali announce Zahar was coming on and the cheering followed.

As many have said Whitts isn't the player of old, needs to get his confidence back. His form last season dropped off and was rested until the last few weeks of the season. He needs to get back on form via the training ground, if not he will need pastures new.

But first of all remember what he's done for our club.
