Whether or not it is the right thing to boo players if its publicly seen that the owner has done it then is it really that bad..?

Even if he was booing it would have been to a collective performance after 95 minutes. Any booing at this point can no longer affect the preceding game and it gives the players something to think about for the next game.

Booing a single player after only 35 minutes of a game has taken an already low on confidence person and punched him squarely in the stomach. He potentially had another 60 minutes to play so could have done without the ill thought out abuse.

How ANY fan can think that Whittingham would have been motivated by such actions is beyond me. It's a sign of society and schools, the collective distance themselves from mistakes or people who are different and like sheep follow the crowd.
