hang your heads in shame. poor show!!
Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:45 pm
I wouldn't boo him but he needs a kick up the arse, good substitution.
Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:45 pm
I thought the applause was for Zaha coming on, personally.
Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:45 pm
He was poor but he's been superb for us over the years & no way deserves that shit.
Fickle fans with short memories

i think the majority could've been cheering our new signing making his debut?

correct fans should show respect to one of their own players,he's been a good servant to City.

People should definitely respect players like Whitts, Hudson and Kev, you've only got to look at Watford struggling after their big attempt at promotion last season, their players demoralised and jaded after being nearly men, the players I mention here battled valiantly season after season to achieve the promotion we all wanted, THEY DESERVE RESPECT FROM US!
Sat Feb 01, 2014 6:02 pm
Scum. They're not real fans at all. Whitts is a legend and more Cardiffian than any of these scumbags. He's also a nice humble guy who will be hurt by that. Disgraceful. You could hear it clearly on the stream as well fans clapping and booing.
Sat Feb 01, 2014 6:04 pm
shouldn't have started ... been poor all season and end of last season

Gav, ashamed to be a Cardiff fan.
Glad Im not renewing.

1. He hasn't been poor
all season. And if he has been poor, it's mostly because Mackay played him in the wrong position.
2. He didn't play at the end of last season. Well, not for the last few games, anyway.
Sat Feb 01, 2014 6:05 pm
Personally I didn't hear any booing of Whitts, I think the applause was for Zaha
Sat Feb 01, 2014 6:06 pm
Absolutely shocking stuff. A lot of football supporters (Cardiff City ones included) have no f*cking clue!

You are obviously correct. But they ain't listening to you!

Irrelevant if any fan was confused about booing or cheering, the players thought it was booing at whitts because Bellamy has said so on Sky Sports in his post match interview.
'Thats not the club im part of'
and
'If thats modern football im gonna have to get used to it'
he said

You're a jack, what do you care?
Shouldn't you be worrying about your own team, and the dire form they are showing?
We're coming for you, we're coming for yoooooooooooouuuuuuu..

There were lots of boos & sarcastic cheers , doesn't matter if the player is having a mare. I'd never boo our own player , it's wrong. I could hear people shout f**k off Whitts , come on that's bollocks.
Sat Feb 01, 2014 6:12 pm
I thought the applause was for Zaha too. If Whitingham can't put a shift in then off he needs to come and I am glad Ole recognised it early enough to address it but if any fans did boo him hang your heads in shame. I would give him a while out of the team to see if he can get his appetite back, he doesn't look hungry for the fight to me

Come for us all you like. Yes we are dire. Today was the worst performance I have seen from us since we have been in the Prem. No imagination, toothless up front, and woeful at the back. However, I have seen nothing from your showing today to convince me that you are going anywhere else but back to the Championship, and that a Cardiff victory next week will serve nothing more than to drag us down there with you. Sadly for us, I think that is just what is going to happen!

I didn't see the game on BT Sport, but it didn't sound good. Chico Flores was embarrassing himself once more, by all accounts.
To be honest, I don't want either of us relegated. It would only help the egg. Did anyone see the Western Mail today? Nine (yes, NINE) pages on today's game at the back, and two inside the front pages, with the whole front page dedicated to it as well. Shocking. Even with both of us in the top-flight, the rugby gets infinitely more coverage.

I never used to have anything against the egg. It used to be a chance for men from the valleys and all over Wales to come together to support their National side with great pride. These days it's nothing short of Cimla gushers with cowboy hats disgracing the streets of Cardiff.

Only our fans are so stupid that they'd boo a player being played out of position for playing bad. Whitts was first a LW and then an attacking mid, he's always been attack minded, until Malky tried to quell his natural abilities and turn him into a CM deep lying playmaker. Whitts was never that type of player. Its another Malky balls up that Whittingham is being blamed for. Disgusting. Whittingham in his natural position under Jones was class. Under Malky and his negative crap he becomes suppressed and put deeper and therefore struggles. Hardly bloody surprising is it? Ask Rooney to play CM and see how he does.
Just shows how tactically inept Malky was.

Nah, it started well before the substitution. The boos that rang out after Whitts free kick were appalling. I can understand a frustrating sigh, but the boos were going to do nothing but kick him in the teeth.

I watched the game online and I honestly thought you were cheering your new signing. But if your saying this, then it truly is appalling! It's equivalent to us booing Tate, Monk or Britton! You just don't do that to club legends!

In fairness it wasn't all of our fans, just certain areas. Surprisingly the areas where 'new' fans have turned up this season
Whittingham is a Cardiff legend. Yes he played poorly but you don't make things worse by slating him. What confidence does that bring to him? Bellamy summed it up in an interview on sky, just does to show that the players hear everything and it's affects them. So think twice before booing or giving the players shit again. On a positive note however, impressed with Zaha and Jones. We look a threatening team on the break.
