A forum for all things Cardiff City

On Tuesday I was in Old Trafford in a seat very high up in the stadium and it gave me the opportunity to view our game from on high.
I would make the following observations
1. The team was badly exposed at both full-back positions, it was clear that Kev is totally as sea in the premier and should not be used unless there are no other options KTC is the answer on the right. on the left I am sorry to say but the lad John is no full-back, he reminds me of Mathews in the sense good going forward but not able to defend. So I would say the addition of Fabio is a vital plug in that hole. The lack of cover from the full-backs over exposed the centre-halves. People are quick to jump on the likes of Turner or Hudson but on the first goal it was Chalker who lost his man. I would say that if we cure full-back issues then defensively we will improve.
2. We have brought in a number of attacking options and we are no longer capable of parking the bus so we will be more on the front foot. I hope that we have brought in enough fire-power because we were very short up top previously.
Whether we have got enough I am not sure but I leave to go and support the boys hoping that February is indeed a big month for us
