I am saying just that - I know many who have been going since we have been in the championship and I cannot be the only one who knows fans of other teams who have been getting season tickets in the hope of seeing their true idols man utd Etc.

Like most people who have sang at the ground, if you are not around like minded people, no one joins in so you give up.

I think all the singing fans in the Ninian should move to the Canton next season because as at the moment all us real fans who want to sing are splintered around the ground even in the canton towards the grandstand where I sit its pathetic on times, the fans to my right (first of the sitting fans) just sit there, that's if they are back from they're 30 min half time!!
Rant over and back to my point, we are better off in one place wherever that may be as we don't have enough singing fans to create an atmosphere in two parts of the ground unless we are beating Man City 3-1 at the time!!

Problem with that is the accoustics of the ground, they dont travel well. So away fans cannot hear us and we cannot hear the away fans.

difference with Ninian Park (rip) was that you could hear each other, creating banter, so more continuous singing.

It probably depends on whether the "sitty down Nazi's" are on patrol today

Btw, try and make it a bit louder down in the Canton as it doesn't travel up as far as us

Yeah bang on. The banter in 117 with the away fans can be pretty good but you're never going to get that sort of banter when you're at opposite ends of the ground

I don't think the Ninian stand will ever be a 'singing' stand. It's no different to most other grounds in the fact that there is usually only one section that sings in each stadium.
The only way, IMO, is that everybody around the stadium who wants to sing especially those who sit (stand) next to the away fans move to the Canton next season.
