I was initially gutted we hadn't signed anyone but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Daehli and Zaha will impress more than any other addition. I think only Pitroipa would have matched these two but that deal fell through.
ASTON VILLA
IN
Grant Holt (Wigan, loan), Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea, loan)
OUT
Stephen Ireland (Stoke, free transfer), Michael Drennen (Carlisle, loan), Jordan Graham (Bradford, loan)
Decent but still nothing special and they had a decent enough strike force regardless.
CRYSTAL PALACE
IN
Jason Puncheon (Southampton, undisclosed), Scott Dann (Blackburn, undisclosed), Wayne Hennessey (Wolves, £3m), Tom Ince (Blackpool, loan), Joe Ledley (Celtic, undisclosed)
OUT

On reflection, Ince is obviously the stand out there but will he settle straight away? Ledley will also have to get up to speed in the Premier League quickly.
FULHAM
IN
Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders, loan), William Kvist (loan, Stuttgart), Lewis Holtby (Tottenham, loan), Konstantinos Mitroglou (Olympiacos, £12.4m), Johnny Heitinga (Everton, free), Ryan Tunnicliffe (Man United, undisclosed), Larnell Cole (Man United, undisclosed)
OUT

Probably the best in terms of names but look at all the loans, Mitroglou aside. Loans can be a dangerous method plus losing Ruiz on loan is a massive blow for them. Berba is lazy so doesn't make much difference and Heitinga is a liability at the back. Dempsey will have to get back up to speed and Holtby has only played 12 games and is not firing on all cylinders at all.
HULL CITY TIGERS
IN
Nikica Jelavic (Everton, undisclosed), Elliott Kebbie (Atletico Madrid, loan), Shane Long (West Brom, £6m)
OUT
Tom Cairney (Blackburn, £500,000), Conor Townsend (Carlisle, loan), Eldin Jakupovic (Leyton Orient, loan), Cameron Stewart (Leeds, loan), Nick Proschwitz (Barnsley, loan), Gedo (Al Ahly, loan terminated), Aaron Mclean (Bradford, undisclosed)
Decnt but nothing special. Long is a good signing imo as I rate him highly. Would have loved him here but Hull moved early on in the window. Still no players of massive quality there though.
NORWICH CITY
IN
Jonas Gutierrez (Newcastle, loan)
OUT
Daniel Ayala (Middlesbrough, £350k), Jamar Loza (Leyton Orient, loan)
Good signing but one player doesn't make a team.
STOKE CITY
IN
John Guidetti (Man City, loan), Stephen Ireland (Aston Villa, free transfer), Juan Agudelo (New England Revolution, free)
OUT
Brek Shea (Barnsley, loan), Jamie Ness (Leyton Orient, loan), Juan Agudelo (FC Utrecht, loan)
Decent signings but again nothing special. Guidetti is hit and miss, Ireland is okay on a free but has lost it quite a bit and Agudelo is nothing amazing. A risk no doubt. Missing out on Pitroipa was a massive blow for them.
SUNDERLAND
IN
Marcos Alonso (Fiorentina, loan), Santiago Vergini (Estudiantes, loan), Oscar Ustari (Almeria, free), Ignacio Scocco (International, £3m), Liam Bridcutt (Brighton, £2.5m)
OUT
Mikael Mandron (Fleetwood, loan), Ji Dong-won (Augsburg, undisclosed), Billy Knot (Port Vale, loan), Cabral (Genoa, loan), Modibo Diakite (Fiorentina, loan), David Moberg Karlsson (Kilmarnock, loan), David Vaughan (Nottingham Forest, loan), Duncan Watmore (Hibernian, loan), Danny Graham (Middlesbrough, loan)

Two good signings in Scocco and Bridcutt imo. Can see them surging on now and surviving with ease as others fall into the mix of a relegation battle.
SWANSEA
IN
David Ngog (Bolton, undisclosed), Raheem Hanley (Blackburn, free transfer), Jay Fulton (Falkirk, undisclosed), Marvin Emnes (Middlesbrough, loan)
OUT
Alan Tate (Aberdeen, loan), Daniel Alfei (Portsmouth, loan), Rory Donnelly (Coventry City, loan)
Not much to note but if Ngog and Emnes get the service they will score imo. Again, depends on penetration and whether Swansea want to pass it around or try and score more. I suspect one will link up with Bony or play off. I think they'll stay up and do well. Emnes might do okay at this level imo.
WEST BROMWICH ALBION
IN
Thievy Bifouma (Espanyol, loan)
OUT
Lee Camp (Bournemouth, free),
Shane Long (Hull, £6m), George Thorne (Derby, loan)

Nothing special and losing Long for them is a major blow.
WEST HAM
IN
Roger Johnson (Wolves, loan), Antonio Nocerino (Milan, loan), Marco Borrielo (Roma, loan) Abdul Razak (Anzhi Makhachkala, undisclosed), Pablo Armero (Napoli, loan)
OUT
Blair Turgott (Rotherham, loan), Jordan Spence (MK Dons, loan), Paul McCallum (Hearts, loan), Modibo Maiga (QPR, loan), George Moncur (Partick Thistle, loan), Modibo Maiga (QPR, loan)
A lot of loans and 4 good players in but 3 of them are loans. Loanee signings are often a risk if they've got nothing to prove and I think us, Swansea and Palace made the best 3 loan signings in Zaha, Ince and Emnes who'll all want to prove something. Guidetti's another but he's very hit and miss but could step up to it.
