Despite strong suggestions at club there was to be late, late additions, it seems OGS didn't get his striker or cb.


Corky, we still can sign players if they're not contracted but we have a 25 man squad, most of our players are over 21 as well so we can't slyly put one in unfortunately. No good free agents out there anyway

I'd think so surely? Odemwingie was definitely in it and replaced by Jones, Smith and Cowie are still in it I assume unless Smith has been moved out for another signing? Brayford moved out(not sure if he was in the squad or not) but if he was that only freed up around 2 spaces and Maynard went to Wigan. So the 3 spaces freed up would have gone to Eikrem, Berget and Jones, Daehli & Zaha don't qualify as they're U21. Gestede's place went to Fabio as well I think, so we may have just completed it. I think we have till the end of today to submit our squads. Unlikely we will make any free transfer movements

I'm assuming this will be the 25 selected and if so, there will be no room to bring anyone else in. I must confess I had completely forgotton about Connolly and although I'm disappointed we haven't brought in a centre back, Connolly is alright for back up.

They didn't have to register all those players. I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of those are left out.

Disappointed we have not signed a CB.

The only thing I can think is that he must be planning on switching Medel to centre half as there didn't seem to be a great deal of effort made in buying someone for this position .

Isn't Connolly out for 6 weeks having just had an op? Im sure I read that somewhere
