Fulham gamble

They've sold/loaned berbatov out and bought a Greek striker for 12 mill :?

Seems strange at this point of the season given there position and IMO is a huge gamble on there part !

Berbatov was there shining light this year and without him I have no doubt they would be bottom .

Not sure I would be happy if I was a Fulham fan

Mitroglou's quality should be more than enough to keep Fulham up, and they've also brought in Lewis Holtby on loan.

Let's also not forget about the hefty loan fee they'll receive for Berbatov.

I would be very, very happy if I were a Fulham fan.

He's not someone I know of or have heard a lot about to be honest , it just seems strange to swap a experienced premier league player like berbatov for a untested player at this level no matter how highly he is rated at this stage of a season . It seems a big gamble to me to hope he hits the ground running

I agree holtby is a fantastic signing and to be honest I'm a little bit jealous

The Greek lad is a goal machine. Scores for fun and scored a hatrick to qualify Greece for the World Cup

So was cornelius for Copenhagen and osvaldo before he went to saints but sometimes players don't settle . On paper he looks a great signing .

Fair point. This lad scored 3 in the World Cup playoff game and has scored a fair few at international level. Acorn certainly didn't Do that but osvaldo is a good point. He was banging them in for Roma but serie a is a world of difference to the prem.

We need to sign someone from Britain or known league on the continent which is respected - Ligue 1, La Liga, Bundesliga, Belgian PL or Eredivisie.

Don't sign from any other leagues. Too much of a risk. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
