25 day s/t renewal window

Like many on here, today I recieved my season ticket renewal letter.
There is no timescale within the info sent so I went onto the City offical site and under the season ticket renewal page it states that we have until 28th February to renew, then after that they go on general sale, thats just 25 days
If I recall, last season we had until the end of March. Does anybody know why this short window was agreed at the club ?

The club are edging their bets, if we go down season ticket sales will go down by the end of Feb who knows what will happen

The team and the manager may believe they can stay up, but the board are showing their concern with such a small window. by the end of February it will still be up in the air, by the end of March the new fans may know if they can walk away again.
