Wow...
Marvin Emnes and David Ngog... What a deadly strike force!
Fri Jan 31, 2014 7:37 pm
Unbelievable, lets hope he doesn't stick one past us AGAIN though eh?

Brought in just for the derby

Also in for Barry Bannan. Something tells me that Laudrup is on his way and this is his way of screwing over Jenkins

Laudrup wants the sack, now it's too obvious.

MARVIN Emnes has left Middlesbrough and been loaned out to Premier League Swansea City until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old Dutchman played for the Swans in 2010 on a month-long loan from Boro where he scored in a 1-0 win over arch rivals Cardiff City.
The striker has been at the Riverside outfit since 2008 and has scored 31 times in 152 games but has only found the net once this season in 24 appearances.
He has been a permanent fixture in Aitor Karanka’s squad since the Spaniard arrived in the autumn but rejoins the Welsh club with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Swansea have Signed Emnes and Ngog.
I'd rather sell our highest ever purchased striker and replace him with no one the sign them
Two...
Oh wait...

Do you really think Emnes is going to do that again?

Both of our clubs have improved dramatically since then, he hasn't.

It's a funny old game

Hated Emnes ever since he ruined us in a Middlesbrough game back in I think 2010/11 season, he put like two past us and we missed out on promotion places
Sat Feb 01, 2014 7:51 am
You realy dont get it do u.
You need players to stay up as its clear to see, you have got players who who have no experience of the prem or are are not first team players in the prem.
We have just brought in players as cover, emnes is cover for our wingers and ngog for bony..
They are not going to first choice players.
Why would we spend big on players when ml is leaving in the summer? The club can see our players comming back and decided not to spend big in this window.
They will keep yhe money for the new manager when he comes.
I aint happy with emnes I admit but can see what the club are doing and its clear ml is on his way un the summer.

He's shit
Sat Feb 01, 2014 8:52 am
Yep but scored against u.
And as I have said better have someone on the cheap for cover then not buy I gess and having to play other players out of position.
Sat Feb 01, 2014 8:55 am
Our fans will never learn. if Emnes or Ngog scores the winner in the derby now theres going to be some in this thread with egg on their face. Im just shutting up and waiting to see what happens in that game. Derby's are always a funny one to predict.

I dought very much eather will get a sniff of a game.
We have 4 quality wingers who are now fully fit so emnes aint comming on.
And boney is playing well and we only play 1 uo front so ngog wont start for sure but will be on the bench and maybee use later depending on how the game pans out.

hypocrisy alert.

I dont think you will find many fans claiming Emnes and Ngog are amazing signings (although Ngog has potential).
The point is they are definate number boosting players and probably wont get near a start unless for injuries or fatigued players. We have had a long taxing campaign and im sure they will both have great value just by having the luxury to rest some players when we can.
When I look at our starting eleven. Then apart from Chico who I dont rate, i dont think we can i prove on any starting position without having to spend maybe £6m - £8m at least per position so we were never going to be having an exciting January window.

Quite right. I thought your post made sense. I think these signings are decent enough as cover.
